If you’re a Mazda MX-5 owner, you would have, at some point in time, stumbled upon someone singing the praises of upgraded door bushes. Forum threads, Facebook posts and general chit-chat about the wonderful properties of these seemingly small pieces of plastic.

The theory is sound; stiffen up one of the key points of contact in the vehicle as it lacks rigidity because of its lack of a hard roof. I bought the pitch and ordered a set of Cobalt Delrin door bushes from Moss Miata.

After some swearing at the local customs office, I got them installed in the NB2. I really should have gotten two sets, but I wanted to try them out first and see what all the fuss was about.
